Buh sorry if anything like this has been posted recently, but I'm pretty sure it hasn't.
ANYWAY, yesterday I found the Luminous Arc 2 "pack" or whatever (comes with the game, CD soundtrack, and art book) for only 20 bucks on gogamer.com. It seems almost too good to be true, so I was wondering if anyone else has bought anything from this website and if you thought they were a good place to buy from, etc.

I know I've said that I prefer communities over PSLs, but honestly? Right now? I am alllll for PSLs. Why didn't I ask for this in the first place?
First of all, ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) pondiesexual's Mikey is fun. Oh wow. FOR ONCE, my Frank doesn't have to pathetically chase after him (not that my Franks usually chase after Mikeys, but typically when a line gets started between the two, the Mikey always reels Frank in enough, then becomes all apathetic/too cool/too good for him, at least until Frank starts showing interest in someone else. It's exhausting :/) - her Mikey's actually upfront, which is great, but is still cute and dorky. We haven't gone too far into the line yet. So far it's been Mikey getting drunk/being hung over and Frank taking care of him. From where we left off in our last scene though, Frank and Mikey are sleeping in the van and they're basically strapped together by the seat belt. It's kind of cute. I'm also really stoked about playing an as an early band days line.
Oh shit. Then letsriothailbby. Her Mikey is like a dream come true for me. The line we're playing is a random AU college line, but shit, after the first scene I was sold. She writes a lot, too. I love it. I love what she writes. It's definitely the kind of style that gets me really into the scene, but it also makes me self-concious because then I'm like "fuck. How do I match that?" Not that I have to match it but I feel like I have to work harder for my responses, which is cool. I really love it. I probably fail but I'm so glad she's put up with it so far.

Um, so in the end, I'm just glad to have current Frank/Mikey lines. The one I had at AA is sadly dying out, I believe. I think the player prefers playing her other lines, honestly, but this is why I've picked up on these PSLs. Keeps me from being completely bummed out about how badly AA is sucking right now and how I'm miss playing Frank/Mikey there :[
Except for keepthexfaith. If it weren't for her, I'd lose all hope for that community. Best Alicia Simmons I've ever played against.

Does anybody make their own 360 NXE themes? I only found about making my own lately (after so long, I know..) and was wondering if other people did it too! This is mine, hahaha. Yeaa, Bumblebee. I hate my non-widescreen tv! Saving up for a new one though :)
P.S. Does anybody play SF4 here? I made it to 10,000 GP yesterday in champ mode, hehe. Almost G1! |

So, the other day - my mom ordered me PS2 controller aimed at girl gamers. Its supposedly smaller/easier to use.
Do any of you ladies have gaming equipment aimed at females? Are they "better" or just a ploy to make you spend your money thinking you NEEEEEEEED them? (I told my mom she was ridiculous for getting me a new controller cuz it was pink & small, but I told her I appreciated the thought - but it seemed wicked unneccessary, she always buys me stuff like this. It's kinda cute, lol.)
Who knows - maybe when it comes in I'll absolutely love it and I'll totally think it was something I "needed" Lolz. Do any of you have gaming stuff that's specifically "girly"? (Not just smaller controllers, but like, something pink and obviously aimed at females - I'm wondering what's out there, lol)
AND Do any of you have funny gaming/nerdy related shirts? I need some new ones. I have some from Threadless, J!NX, & ThinkGeek already. Lemme see! & On an unrelated note I lost my 3rd stylus this morning. Fricken AWESOME. D: |

I'm surprised I never posted this...back in April I was shopping for a senior prom dress in the next town over and wanted to stop by GameStop in my town first to get a copy of WOTLK, but they were sold out. So I figured I would just check the GameStop in the next town while prom shopping and get one there. We finished prom shopping pretty quickly [found the perfect dress in only 20 minutes or so, and it was cheaper than most of the dresses there!], so before heading back home, we decided to check Walmart since it was right before GameStop.
Well, we get to Walmart and I head to the electronics department and find they have a few copies left, but they were priced for $19.95. For those of you who aren't WoW players, this expansion goes for $39.95 normally and some places, if you're lucky, sell them for $29.95. So this was a huge steal! Of course, not hesitating [well, I checked the price tag first to make sure it wasn't in the wrong place and sure enough, it said 'Wrath of the Lich King'], I snatched myself a copy and quickly made my way to the checkout.
When I get there with my stepdad, $20 and some change in hand, the guy scans it and goes, "Okay, that'll be $40" and some odd change which I forget the amount. Confused, I told him, "$40? That's odd, because the price tag said it was $19.95..." So I proceeded to pull out another $20 to hand to him and he stops and calls somebody to the checkout stand and sends her to check the price, and she confirmed that it said $19.95 [she also took the sticker off and put the real price of course]. So, I found out that when something's mispriced, they give you the item for I believe $3 off the wrong price. Which means I got my WOTLK for $16 instead of $40! Total win. :)

For those of you that have played Grandia III, I'm sure you remember the lovely *gag* music from the Baccula Settlement. It sounds like cats being hit with hammers.
Despite the wretched composing of this piece, I'm trying to find it somewhere online either from a stream or a download. Does anyone know where I can find it? I've been scouring Google and various forums for about 30 minutes now with no luck; very possible I'm looking in the wrong places.

I recently played this game on a friend's 360. So good, so perfect, so worth the $60 I'll eventually burn on it, but there's just one problem:
That damned D-Pad.
Sure, it's just one little problem, but it's sort of like saying "Megan Fox has a penis." (For some, this would not be a bad thing, but in fact a pleasant surprise; however, the D-Pad on the 360 most definitely is a Bad Thing and far from a pleasant surprise, is an unpleasant fact that we have had to live with for years.)
Microsoft really should have done something about it back in 2005. |

In the beginning I said I wasn't all that impressed with the new DSI, but now I am downright hating it. I've got this annoying habit of accidentally powering it off mid-play. Sometimes it's just the way I'm holding it but more often it's my backwards brain trying to hit the start or select button to get to the menu. I just lost a good deal of progress in The World Ends With You when I inadvertently hit the power button instead of the start button. (Yes, I am slow. I procrastinate like mad even with gaming.)
Was there a problem with the side power button in the Lite? I thought that was a FIX to similar woes of the DS Phat. At this point, I am seriously thinking about selling it and getting my DS Lite replaced. Or getting a used Lite. But having both seems silly. sigh.
Anyone else having this issue? |

I'd offer all of my strategy guides if they weren't torn to hell and missing pages... That's what happens when you buy guides and games for an eight year old and a five year old... You get a copy of FF8 that doesn't work any more because it's scratched beyond repair and a matching strategy guide that looks like it's been through a shredder. :P |

Hey ladies!
I got a PSP recently & I love it but I have a particular fondness to games such as Gitaroo Man Lives,Patapon & Parappa the Rappa. I finished Gitaroo Man in about 2 hours wich mad me sad :C I played Patapon but I got bored of it very quickly & Parappa the Rappa is rock hard ( I'm still stuck on the first level. )
So does anyone else no of any games like this ( sequence games I think they're called ). I wouldn't be bothered with Patapon 2 or Rock Band Unplugged. I have a European Slim & Light PSP, so if games from other countries/regions would work on it then I'm open to suggestions.

Ugh, I had a crappy experience at a game store today and I'd like to rant and ask some questions, if that's okay.
Today, I went over to Game Xchange (it's like Gamestop but more affordable and sells games from every system) to look for Pokemon Fire Red or Leaf Green (trying to complete my Diamond Pokedex). I found a copy of Leaf Green still in the box for $25, so I definitely bought it. But, when I went up to the register to ask for it (they have the DS/GBA games in a locked case), the guy said "You don't want that game!" and it made me feel really..embarrassed. I just told him that yes, I do want the game, and he rang me up. Only before he did, he asked "Are you SURE you want to buy something lame like Pokemon?!" :|
Now, I'm all for hearing people's opinions and I know that not everyone likes the same stuff. But for a worker to criticize their customer's choice? He could have lost a sale. This also isn't the first time this has happened. I bought Fallout 3 from there and the same guy was working, and all he could say while he was ringing me up was how much that game sucked.
Has this ever happened to any of you? A worker criticizing your choice of game and making you feel like crap about it?
Is this anything worth getting upset about? I just feel that they were very unprofessional and they really aren't in a position to be judging who buys what game. There are very cool people that work there, but unfortunately they are hardly ever working when I go in. :( |

Hello girls!
Anyone here ever play Samurai Warriors 2?
I've been trying and searching for tips on getting the mounts, Persian Mare and Moonchild.
Google hasn't seemed to help much.
I've gotten as far as doing the Medicine Hunt and Transport Rescue missions in Survival Mode.
Apparently after completing these quests, the mounts will be in the shop...but I haven't seen them in the shop.
Any help will be LOVED <3
